Situated in the capitol of sophisticated fashion and design, the Brera district, the elegant showroom will establish the company’s ever-expanding influence in the European markets, a significant presence confirmed by the founder and CEO of the brand Janice Feldman, as well as by Dario Rinero, CEO of Poltrona Frau Group.
The flagship showroom’s carefully considered location at Via Fatebenefratelli, 15, positions JANUS et Cie’s offering among Italy’s most prestigious heritage design brands and reaffirms the company’s dedication to crafting creative, innovative and inspiring products from fine and original materials of lasting quality.
Visitors to the showroom are warmly welcomed into the grand, two-story entry level, and greeted by the company’s trademark gold leaf topiary tree sculptures. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap this ground level, bringing an abundance of natural light for an airy, serene atmosphere. Emphasizing the elements of exploration and discovery, JANUS et Cie’s signature limestone floors and pristine white walls guide visitors to an open central staircase with paths to the showroom’s additional three levels of display space including an expansive mezzanine.
Rooms divided by the company’s iconic hedged walls feature distinctive vignettes showcasing the award-winning furnishings that have come to define this American-born luxury lifestyle brand. Windowed walls highlight JANUS et Cie’s vast offering of chair styles and provide the perfect perch for their ensemble of stunning accessories. The showroom also features an interactive fabric installation where clients are encouraged to pull off generously sized wings of JANUS et Cie textiles to explore the fabrics three dimensionally—draped on chairs, wrapped around pillows, held in various lights, and entwined with a designer’s project materials.
